Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

Well, I've been hanging on so far, but I think this is the end of the line for me. I told myself if I didn't get admitted in time for Stanford's ASW, I'd be done waiting. Time to make my deposit elsewhere.

Don't worry, in deference to those of you still waiting and hoping, I'll withdraw my app on Monday. So there, your chances just went up some hundredth of a percent!

Good luck to all!

I've been waiting since Thanksgiving... does this mean that Dean Deal still like us? Or are we now complete forgotten. Feeling anxious, especially because deadlines are soon.

I've been waiting since Halloween. Join the club. The only solace is that you're not waiting alone.

Just sent in an LOCI. Not sure if it's too late to have an effect at this point though

I might be signing a lease in Boston next week, so SLS needs to hurry up. If they'd gotten back to me sooner, they would have been a serious contender.

Complete as of 9/28 club here

Not in the business of robbing applicants of hope, but if I were in that business, I'd point out that blog entry was published 9 days ago, and that's a significant chunk of admissions-cycle time in April.

Still...still hope!

Last cycle acceptances went out as late as 4/20. I think the main take away is that Stanford can be unpredictable and take a while. It's not over quite yet though.

does DLS mean snail mail or does an email actually come in relatively short order?

It's snail male but you can actually call and they will let you know if you were rejected or waitlisted over the phone so you don't have to wait for the package.

Does the online status checker say that a decision has been rendered?

If I just could ahead and get that DLS so I can put a deposit down elsewhere without fear of losing $500 so that I can go and pay sticker for SLS, that'd be great

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
