Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
Well, I've been hanging on so far, but I think this is the end of the line for me. I told myself if I didn't get admitted in time for Stanford's ASW, I'd be done waiting. Time to make my deposit elsewhere.
Don't worry, in deference to those of you still waiting and hoping, I'll withdraw my app on Monday. So there, your chances just went up some hundredth of a percent!
Good luck to all!

I've been waiting since Thanksgiving... does this mean that Dean Deal still like us? Or are we now complete forgotten. Feeling anxious, especially because deadlines are soon.

I've been waiting since Halloween. Join the club. The only solace is that you're not waiting alone.itookthelsat wrote:I've been waiting since Thanksgiving... does this mean that Dean Deal still like us? Or are we now complete forgotten. Feeling anxious, especially because deadlines are soon.

Just sent in an LOCI. Not sure if it's too late to have an effect at this point though

I might be signing a lease in Boston next week, so SLS needs to hurry up. If they'd gotten back to me sooner, they would have been a serious contender.Dcc617 wrote:COMPLETE AS OF 23RD SEPTEMBER.WinterComing wrote:I've been waiting since Halloween. Join the club. This is the same school that brought us the prison experiment.Iam3hunna wrote:Yea this is getting out of hand!Dcc617 wrote:COMPLETE AS OF 23RD SEPTEMBER.WinterComing wrote:I've been waiting since Halloween. Not in the business of robbing applicants of hope, but if I were in that business, I'd point out that blog entry was published 9 days ago, and that's a significant chunk of admissions-cycle time in April.
Still...still hope!

Last cycle acceptances went out as late as 4/20. I think the main take away is that Stanford can be unpredictable and take a while. It's not over quite yet though.Olliedemars wrote:Not in the business of robbing applicants of hope, but if I were in that business, I'd point out that blog entry was published 9 days ago.

does DLS mean snail mail or does an email actually come in relatively short order?

It's snail male but you can actually call and they will let you know if you were rejected or waitlisted over the phone so you don't have to wait for the package.williamtell wrote:does DLS mean snail mail or does an email actually come in relatively short order?

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
If I just could ahead and get that DLS so I can put a deposit down elsewhere without fear of losing $500 so that I can go and pay sticker for SLS, that'd be great
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
