Dinged by email. No interview, UR3. Heavy splitter but was banking on an interview to get my foot in the door.
Best of luck to everyone else!

Ding. Below both medians, above both 25th. Not surprised, but given how my cycle is playing out I'm thinking I wrote some real stinkers for essays.

So, odds on whether there are any sweet, sweet Rubys left for this batch of admits?

Yep, ditto to that fuckin promotions tab, so evil it could've been hiding in there forever if I hadn't been on high alert!archipm wrote:In via email!!! It went to my promotions tab in gmail, just a heads up.

I'm sure there are, they still haven't even given much of a look at any applications submitted early December and later. At least, I haven't heard of anyone in that timeline having gotten an interview offer yet...FastRun wrote:So, odds on whether there are any sweet, sweet Rubys left for this batch of admits?
I know that applying earlier is generally regarded as advantageous as far as scholarships go, but it seems unlikely that applying mid-way through the cycle would disqualify you regardless of the quality of your app. My money is on their money going to at least a few of you

Have previous Rubies gone to people who had already received an acceptance email? Sorry if this is easy to find in the threadBearlyalive wrote:I'm sure there are, they still haven't even given much of a look at any applications submitted early December and later. Got waitlisted as well. But I have to be honest without getting an interview, I am pretty excited to not get rejected
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
