So with calls coming the same day it could be that NYU is changing things up a little this year. It seems like in previous years they would do a few big waves in the first day and then would call over the next few days. It could be they are doing smaller waves and calling everyone in that wave the same day.

Of course, that could just be wishful thinking as we near the end of day 1.

Got the call!! Saw I had DLS earlier this morning (around 10:45). She was super sweet and said this was her favorite day because she got to hear how happy and excited everyone was!

I applied end of October and have been refreshing all day

DLS and logged on to the admitted students site!

Abroad though so missing out on the phone calls/ASW though

Sidenote: Is it bad that my sister needed my social to take care of a couple of things for me the other day and I totally blanked on it but when I needed my LSAC number to get into the NYU Admitted Students site just now I remembered that shit as easily as my bday?

I have a dual monitor setup and the NYU status checker is open on my second monitor with an auto-refresh running.
Whenever I see the page reloading I just look out of the corner of my eye and see those 3 disheartening words: "Application Under Review"

There's always tomorrow though!

but seriously, in past years they have sent out decisions regularly? or do they come on specific days? (srry if this question was already answered. i'm a bit of a tls newbie. just registered today!)

In years past, they have always done a lot of decisions on the first two days and then they continue to come out after that, just not all in a rush like we saw today.

Do you think that their starting really early in the day today vs. the late afternoon makes a difference?
