Sorry to hear that :(

What time did you get your email? Trying to see whether they're still trickling out.

Interviewed January 13th, put on hold today. It sounds like Hold is different than reserve. The letter says I will hear a decision by April 24th.

yes - that's definitely different than the reserve email I got. We won't find out until end of may.

Sorry to everyone who got bad news!

Reserve = waitlist = you are forced to wait until July then rejected unless some divine authority intervenes.
Hold = we need more time to think about your application in relation to others we are planning to accept = just be patient and wait.

Reserved via email around three hours ago. Columbia was my top choice...sad.

Held. Sort of frustrated, this feels a bit like YP. It'll probably work though, because I think I'm going to withdraw.

A bit late to the party, but wait listed yesterday. At one 75th above the other. I think my app might have made it obvious columbia wasn't my first choice (No why columbia, not biglaw/ business law focused, etc.). Didn't interview or anything. This is literally the first communication I've had with them since the went complete email.

Does your "status checker " change when a decision had been reached? Applied end of October. Insanely above both 75ths. Not a peep.

I don't think so. Mine hasn't. "Insanely"? 560 LSAT and 12.5 GPA?

Not hearing anything kinda makes me think I'll get rejected in the first rejection wave. Especially since I applied in September and have heard nothing at all.

I wonder what it was like before the Internet when you couldn't track exactly who else was getting in or getting rejected.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
