Definitely riding this out because hey, I already live here. But going to plan on H for now.
See you there!

Also currently living in New Haven, also WL.

I've heard a lot about movement on other T14 WL but not as much about Yale - is there generally much movement from it? Anything you can do to help get off of it?

I think their matriculation rates are probably toooo damn high, unfortunately. So I wouldn't expect a whole lot of movement.

Sorry/congrats to the WL crowd! I think 0-20 people get in from that each year according to the email they sent last year for the WL.

Is anyone else still waiting? I've been complete forever, assuming a ding is on its way now.

The email they sent includes good info on that. Varies from no movement on the low end to 20 on the high end. But with a matriculation rate as high as theirs I'd say the latter is an exception to the rule, and somewhere between 5 to 10 is a safe bet.

Right there with you, although I'm an early March complete so I can't infer much of anything.

I get the impression that 5 to 10 is fairly standard. And I would bet it's probably offered late in the summer!

And hey, other New Havener!

Are people planning to stay on? I'm leaning toward going with S at this point...

Also waitlisted. For my own sanity, I am going to withdraw and call Cambridge home.

WL also. I already accepted a scholarship at NYU. How long can i stay on this wait list without making it difficult for NYU to replace my scholarship offer?

No news for me either, WL or otherwise. I think I'm developing an ulcer from the stress of waiting.

Pretty impressive how many TLSers are on the WL or admitted, considering how small the pool is. Suggests that this community represents a decent portion of the top applicants overall, at least this year.
