I have not tried yet but the worst they can say is no to any school you have.

Took me a couple of hours. I'd imagine you would know by now but I think it can take up to 24.

+1 but I think it's safe to say you can contact the school if you've reached your 12 week mark and haven't heard anything

Is there a Vanderbilt rule to the 12 weeks, or is that just a generic any school rule of thumb?

BTW, for those calendar impaired - http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

I'd imagine near their seat deposit deadlines are major WL movement dates.

^^^ I will. I am worried that I will like the school too much and it will convince me to attend despite not getting enough $$$.

I'm at my 10 week mark - I think it makes 11 next Wednesday. I understand your pain :( my supervisor is a Vandy Law grad though and he said his app took all of 12 weeks so there might be hope for us just yet! Good luck!

Will you be contacting admissions? I'm in the same position as you, and can't decide what to do.

Was looking for advice as well. Is it too soon to call on the last day? Should I wait until Monday?

I think I may give it until the end of the business day on Tuesday, and then figure out what exactly I should be saying in this email...

Anyone know the admitted students website info? Didn't seem to include it in my packet (or I missed it?)?

+1 couldn't find it either. I've just been assuming it doesn't exist. Maybe all we get is the packet?

Still nothing:( To the people who have already reached their 12 week mark are your numbers in Vanderbilt's target area and are you planning on calling the admission's office to check on your application?

I emailed them last week in my 15th week and they said replied the next day saying based on my complete date, it would be still be a few more weeks. I do not know if I am the standard or they are just waiting to tell me they hate me. Hope the rest of you have better news if you decide to email/call them.

Jeez. Im afraid to ask what your complete date is...

To me, it seems pointless to set a window of time for a decision to be rendered and then not stick to it. 12-15 weeks should be ample time to make a decision.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
