Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
I just did mine -- was painless. All I did was fill it out and send over to an Assistant Registrar at my school. She filled out her portion and emailed it to GULC -- next day I had the red check mark!smccgrey wrote:The certification is just a form for the admin to sign that states that you didn't have any conduct issues or anything while enrolled. Still not sure who to give it to at McGill, but I'll figure it out before May.schmelling wrote:Why would you need to send another transcript if you already graduated? Also isn't the certification only for those who had c&f issues?smccgrey wrote:My SC now shows the requirements as final UG transcript and certification form. I guess they get around to updating everyone's eventually!
(ASW explains that everyone needs to send these in by May 15 or something)

Long time lurker, first time posting...just received my acceptance letter today after only having gone complete on 12/15! LSAT >25%, GPA >75%, submitted the video option (and got a handwritten note complimenting my video).

Anyone know when scholarship offers will start rolling out?

They don't send out offers until February, I believe. They wait for FAFSA and Need Access (both available January 1), and then you need to fill out Georgetown's Yellow Application (available in February sometime) before they send you a first offer.griffin3575 wrote:Anyone know when scholarship offers will start rolling out?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
Been lurking for years, finally applied this cycle, and, after getting my first few acceptances, I figured it was time to make an account.
I applied on November 21 and received my acceptance on December 8 - only got the letter today, though, as I live internationally (darn post office delays). Super excited to possibly be going to DC!
Stats/background: mixed female (AA/Asian), 3.49/164, graduated early from a top 25 undergraduate in 2012, and have ~2 years work experience in law firms (US/UK). I didn't want to get too attached to Georgetown but now that I'm in, I'm seriously hoping that I get some money to go.
Congratulations to all the other Georgetown admits!

Was accepted via mail but don't seem to have access to the accepted students site (cannot generate a password). Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
My bet is that they haven't been adding newly admitted students to the Admitted Student Portal since the Admissions Office has been closed for the past week or so. I'd check back next week when they've opened again!JFO1833 wrote:Was accepted via mail but don't seem to have access to the accepted students site (cannot generate a password). I don't see how you couldn't be in. Is it possible your acceptance letter was lost in the mail?quick_silver wrote:If I got into the admitted students website and got GULC's Christmas card, can I consider myself in even if I haven't received the official letter? I really got excited when I got into the site, but I'm holding my breath waiting for that letter.
