In off the waitlist! Really shocked... I'm from an underrepresented region of Texas, so maybe that made up for my weaknesses.

Just got in off the waitlist, also a splitter from a weird part of Texas. This really makes the decision of where to go so much harder. I think the only place I might still want more that I got into is Penn, and it's such a different school that the decision is going to be really really hard.

Still, there are worse problems in life.

Oh my god.....oh my god.....also in off of the waitlist today. Just got the voicemail......WHY DIDN'T I ANSWER THE PHONE?!?!?!

I am in shock. Utter shock.

Why are they pulling from the waitlist so early?!?!

Grats! and the applicant pool is a lot tinier this year than the last few, so that may have something to do with it.

Hey guys, in with scholarship + in state tuition. Texas sounds like a good time but I'm kinda hesitant because I want big law in the east coast. Can anyone provide advice/perspective? Will I have a hard time landing a job in NYC if I attend UT?

When I got the phone call I was on my way to put my LOCI in the mailbox. I had written it so carefully, it's probably one of the best pieces of writing I've ever done. I was really pleased to slip it into the recycle bin.
