Quick question. What does getting a KB2 signify? What is the rough acceptance rate of people who get one? Obviously it's a good sign, but how good historically? Maybe I stink at using the search function, but I really couldn't find anything.

KB1 = Interview
KB2 = acceptance call

Since KB2 is an acceptance, pretty sure it's 100% that you're in. Barring hallucination.

if i remember correctly, people in the past have mistakenly gotten kb2's......i remember reading about this on tls somewhere

Congrats to the rest of you! Hope to see some of you at ASW!! I know its still early in the cycle and I'm not ready to make an official decision yet, but I'm kind of ready to start ordering a bunch of Harvard sweatshirts and actually buying some winter clothes (Cold weather and I do not mix...)

That must be awkward. Did they find out during the course of the call? Like "Oh we meant the other John Doe. So sorry."? Or do you just get a waitlist in the mail after waiting for your acceptance packet? I'm not sure which of those would be worse.

According to last year's thread, more KB1s went out the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so I would assume they'd be this week or early next.
