Re: Villanova 2011
How do I answer this question? I've been out of school since last May, living with my parents saving money until law school. I don't have living expenses?
List the total amount of cash given to you and bills paid for you and/or your spouse by parents/relatives/others for such
things as tuition, living expenses, car insurance, medical insurance, etc. in 2010. Also please list any Parent Plus Loan
taken out for you and/or your spouse and any personal loan given to you and/or your spouse in 2010.

with the plus loans, you'll just have to list the amount of plus loans your parents took out for your undergrad eduaction, if they have.

Solid, solid link sir. Definitely a win.langdonbadger wrote:Bless wrote:SrLaw wrote:I find it very..... disheartening... that a school that has had so many issues and on the verge of becoming a TTT, made me e-mail them for my scholarship. Suffice to say, it is pretty pathetic.![]()

Dude.
Haha, my thoughts exactly. Just like they "made" him fill out an application. Sounds like a hipster

i have a feeling that nova is trying to gauge what their admitted applicants are getting from other schools by initially offering no money and then waiting to see if the applicant either tries to negotiate by sending info on other offers or just outright asking the applicant what other offers s/he received.

If so that kind of adds the cherry on top for Villanova this cycle.rs2004 wrote:i have a feeling that nova is trying to gauge what their admitted applicants are getting from other schools by initially offering no money and then waiting to see if the applicant either tries to negotiate by sending info on other offers or just outright asking the applicant what other offers s/he received.

Not to bring bad news, just some info.
I work at a store near Villanova, and today I waited on a law student. I asked her what she thought and she told me she wishes she went to Temple, because you get a better value there.
Take that for what you wish, because I've also met some very happy law students and some very nice faculty

That's probably because she was probably a PA resident...IMO, if you are a PA resident, Temple is the obvious choice.Evrydyhonestliar wrote:Not to bring bad news, just some info.

You can always try seeing if Villanova is willing to match Temple's offer.Evrydyhonestliar wrote:Not to bring bad news, just some info.

Guys, SrLaw is right. Villanova is absolute ass because they only gave him a scholarship AFTER he e-mailed them about it. Ughhhhhhh, UNBELIEVABLE. No one should ever have to scummumb to that kind of labor for scholarship money, and especially not SrLaw.

You set this one up beautifully so you didn't have to be the one to say it this time around.
