In! Completed application kinda late in the cycle but quick turnaround. Maybe getting the interview with an alum of my undergrad helped

They had to Fedex the package to Mexico bet they were super thrilled about that hahaha

Did anyone else get a career services booklet today? If so, did it include scholarship info? At first I thought that's what it was, but I opened it and there was no letter, just the booklet thing.

Someone who got it in last year's thread said they got it around Feb. 19th. Regular scholarships started to hit mailboxes around March 1st.

Does anyone honestly know how much the interviews weigh in the admissions process?? I will be the first to admit that my numbers are NOT very strong, but I have excellent softs. My interview was with Ryan Willard (Associate Director of Admissions) last November, and I think I knocked the interview out of the park. I am desperately trying to convince myself that I still have a chance of admittance.... Any comments, especially from those already admitted reflecting on your application interview, would be extremely helpful!!!! Thanks

It definitely helps for borderline applicants, or for those who want to avoid YP. I have so-so numbers for Vandy, and I (along with those who have similar numbers and interviewed) got in pretty quickly, while those with similar (or even slightly higher) numbers who didn't interview seemed to get hit more with the WL.

It doesn't work miracles, but it seems like it can push borderline applicants one way or the other.

Same here. I have to admit I was pissed. They should know better than to play with our emotions.
