I also applied but on 11/02; haven't heard a peep. I am calling them on Thursday if I don't get an email by then.Kaitlyn wrote:Hey everyone!
I applied to GULC on 11/1 and never heard anything, not even an acknowledgement email. Is now the time to give their office a call? They're the only ones I have not heard anything from at all aside from Yale....

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
Just got an email offering me an interview. This means I'm a borderline candidate, no?
Also changed to 11/16 today from 11/10.
I find this weird since I'm not strictly a splitter (3.77, 168)

Changed to 11/16 today, but that makes sense, since they got a new LSAT score from me today.

I guess that's actually pretty good.s0ph1e2007 wrote:I hear they admit like 50% of interviewees.Arbiter213 wrote:Just got an email offering me an interview. This means I'm a borderline candidate, no?
What's weird is I just looked- according to LSN (2009 class) 168 is their median. According to their website, 168 is their bottom 25%.
So I AM a splitter, oiy o_O
I hope I don't screw up this interview like I did my NU one.

When someone asks you what a common misconception about yourself is, give a positive answer. Don't say "That I'm an asshole." I was so surprised by the question I said the first thing that came to my mind. I think it otherwise went well, but I was a bit too candid through the whole thing, and I needed to show polish and maturity to have a chance (no WE here).

I also changed to 11/16 today, though I don't have a new LSAT score, so... I have no idea what's going on. I'm tired of reading these tea leaves.

I submitted late october, and I still think I'll probably get in. Not that I wont appreciate it when/if they do.

My application went complete 11/15. 3.59/170. Does anyone know how quickly they contact you about interviews after your app goes complete?

You do realize that with your new LSAT you will have better prospects than Georgetown... right?s0ph1e2007 wrote:I don't think it means waitlistwiseguy33 wrote:Splitter, submitted late October, no interview emailHello December waitlist?

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
I was emailed about an interview today as well. I'm pretty surprised since my numbers are low for Georgetown. 167/3.7/non-URM.

Does the status change to under review or stay at complete?
For some reason I check this forum every day even though I know it won't do a thing and just makes me nervous. Irrational behavior...

With that 179 and URM status, I really don't think you need to worry about GTowns0ph1e2007 wrote:I don't think it means waitlistwiseguy33 wrote:Splitter, submitted late October, no interview emailHello December waitlist?

Got an interview email today, too. 3.85 GPA, 162 LSAT, non-URM, ~4 years work experience.

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
So I'm expecting to hear back from Georgetown very soon and I just noticed today on my status checker that I apparently made the mistake of putting my permanent address zipcode as my mailing address zipcode. Any advice on how to handle this now, especially being potentially days away from a decision?
