hold means they haven't made a decision yet. I believe reserve is a wait list.MF248 wrote:Is there a difference between reserve & hold at Columbia?existenz wrote:Today:

Finally complete at Penn today via status checker. Submitted 1/11. That's my last complete (except Cornell, where I withdrew before going complete).

Not heard from 7 apps. I guess they can't figure out what to do with my 169!

Still waiting to hear from 8 of my 11. Sigh. At least I'm in at one of my very top choices so there is no pressure... (sort of)

Email from Santa Clara inviting me to apply for a scholarship. Freaked me out because I'm 'being considered for' one of their full ride scholies.

Special group in the Preferred Waiting List at GULC. From the tone of the letter, this sounds like they want an acknowledgment of willingness to attend or continued interest. I hope (assume) that this is YP; I'm 3.8/173. Anyone have any insight?

Yeah that list has some YPed folks, and some people who are close numbers-wise but not quite over the hump. It seems like they're trying to select only those that want to attend by soliciting LOCIs with this group. With your numbers, it's undoubtedly YP since you're pretty much an auto admit everywhere but YS.

Re: Who'd you hear from? - Post-December LSAT Applicants
At this point I have 7 apps out and the only one I've heard back from is Duke (priority track) where I was put on Priority Reserve. Stats are 174/3.83, non-trad (9 years work experience) with a Master's Degree.
Anybody else in the same boat? I'm under review at Virginia, Harvard, and Georgetown. Complete at Chicago and Columbia. Haven't even heard if I'm complete from NYU (last communication from them was that they had received my application).
Kinda getting impatient ...
