ack. sooooo they're a bit further along than perhaps we gave them credit for. i have no idea what to expect next week or if i should even be relieved for the time being since probably decisions will run the gamut.
anyway, i can't ruminate over this anymore today or im going to have an aneurysm.

Okay, so this is my first - and only? - post, but I've been lurking long enough to share my info with the forum.
WL today. Over both 75ths. JS1 in the autumn. Mediocre interview (I got too damn nervous). Unique softs.
I have some excellent options moving forward, so I've nothing to complain about, but neither am I dancing in the street!
Best of luck to all who remain, and to those who plan to wait out the wait list. I shan't be joining you, as those excellent options will be demanding an answer soon.

It was early in March if that helps(?). Got waitlisted later afternoon yesterday.Arrow4Christ wrote:Not sure what to make of that infobarrelofmonkeys wrote:i think this might be interesting to some of you later JS1s (from the harvard waitlist thread)

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
I'm a little bit optimistic right now because I went complete in early December and only got my JS1 invite at the end of February, meaning they had plenty of time to review my file, ding me, etc. I still think I'm a likely WL, but given the fact we have an early March JS1 waitlist I can't help but be a little bit hopeful.
At the end of the day I'm just ready for whatever decision comes down the line. I never thought I'd still be in the game this late.

In previous cycles has anyone been admitted (not off the WL) AFTER the second accepted students weekend?

Time stamp says 3:51 am for me, which probably means it was an email from Friday.Pneumonia wrote:wealtheow wrote:...i hope not?Pneumonia wrote:They're sending WL's on Saturday?I was referring to the boldedOrigen wrote:Okay, so this is my first - and only? - post, but I've been lurking long enough to share my info with the forum.

Yep. It was Friday. I was up reading through this thread--this post came in the middle of the night.

There will be some good news on Monday for you recent JS1s.

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Probably late Feb and early March, although they may want to get things over with and thus push out decisions for even later JS1s. Also prepare for a few more waitlists, although far fewer than there were on Friday.
Thanks for the condolences. I'm riding that WL and based on data from past cycles I'm optimistic that I'll get in. Maybe we'll get there through different routes, but I think we'll be Cambridge bound this year

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Long time lurker here!
This is my first TLS post, but I was in the 11 am wait list group from yesterday so I figured I would contribute stats:
Above 75th LSAT
Below 25th GPA
K-JD, Non-URM
(Specific stats in profile)
Applied early October and had my JS1 the first week of November. It has been a long wait (and it appears that it will only get longer) but HLS is my dream school so I am sticking it out. In the mean time, I will probably be accepting my Butler at Columbia
Thanks to everyone who posts in this thread! It has been extremely helpful to me (and my high level of stress over the past six months)! I wish JS2s for all of you (and myself if JS has the time!)

What's the acceptance rate for waitlisted people? Any ways to increase the possibility of getting in?

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Over the last three cycles, 26 percent of those on LSN who reported waitlists were accepted and WL data (both LSN and other) unsurprisingly suggests that the better your numbers the better your chances. You could send in a letter of continuing interest, but I don't think that will significantly increase your chances.esperanto wrote:What's the acceptance rate for waitlisted people? Seriously? What are you waiting for?
