Also, we should keep in mind that adcoms might be taking part or all of Thursday off to root for the Dawgs in the Sweet 16! And this is totally acceptable. GO DAWGS!

ugh, when they would play that at basketball games i was almost embrassed

but if you know the team, they really are a goofy bunch of weirdos, and they take pride in it, so whatever works to get them up haha

I went to a Mariners game for the food. The garlic fries were great (the apple slice is a nice touch on the side), but the hot dog was not anything to write home about.

I'm still IR for U-Dub, but DePaul sent me a comical waitlisting which basically says "we love you!....but we ran out of room." So they put me on "priority." Too bad the feeling isn't mutual.

I've heard back from 18/22 schools I applied to.

Still waiting on BC, Chicago Kent, FSU, and, of course, UW.

Congrats on your acceptance. Looking under your LSN profile, it looks like you have a ton of great options (and lots of scholarship offers too, congrats!). Any particular preference so far? The schools you applied to seem to be all over the place (region-wise). Good luck with UVA!

Uh-oh! We are near number twins. Here's hoping that a .05 difference in GPA can put me over the hump (I did get in that hallowed 3.75+ area).

Haha, I think they compensate for that by having one of the most beautiful law buildings in the nation.

Thanks! I actually already withdrew from UVA after getting waitlisted. I really don't have a strong preference anywhere now because I'm likely going to be unable to visit any school. Within the next couple days, though, I'll sit down and come closer to a decision.

I agree that their non VR existence is pretty awesome, but for christsakes, this is the law school that represents one of the technological capitals of America, if not the world. They could at least have someone develop a website that doesn't look like it's hosted on geocities!
