Had a decision rendered on 11/16 but no letter today. Does it come via regular US postal mail? I live on the east coast FWIW.

Nice. Between you and 5ky (both of whom also went from 11/6 to 11/19 today), I like the company I'm in. Maybe we'll all get DR'd soon.puppins wrote:Above both 75%Tangerine Gleam wrote:To those who also just changed from 11/6 to 11/19...do you have admit numbers? Status changed to 11/19 Committee Requested Interview. Notified by email that they wanted an optional interview and would set one up with alum in the area or a phone interview. Glad I don't have to pay to fly. Christmas is coming up, need money for presents.
Says not punitive if I decline, but it would be silly to skip this possible advantage.

It seems odd to me that I haven't gotten "Committee Requested Interview," and just got an updated review date. My GPA is just as low and lower than many of those they have requested so far. Maybe they are WLing me.NayBoer wrote:Status changed to 11/19 Committee Requested Interview. I updated today too (GPA +25%, LSAT +75%). You guys think we'll get DR on Monday, then?Tangerine Gleam wrote:Nice. Agreed. I got my first acceptance yesterday, but Georgetown would be my first decision from a "contender." And it would be a nice Thanksgiving presentTangerine Gleam wrote:Who knows? But I'm certainly hoping. The timing would be ripe.

11/19/09 Committee Requested Interview
I like this, actually, though I wish this happened BEFORE my NU interview, since that one seems a bit more high pressure and it would've been nice to have this one as practice. Hope I get an in person interview so I have another excuse to wear my new suit!

yeah, from previous years it looks like it's either a good way to get accepted or at least priority waitlisted. I'm not auto-admit and I interview pretty well, so I'm pumped.Shaggier1 wrote:It seems like this is a good sign... ?11/19/09 Committee Requested Interview

I didn't realize it was done in previous years... for some reason I thought this was the first year.yeah, from previous years it looks like it's either a good way to get accepted or at least priority waitlisted.
Got any LSN references? I can look myself, obviously, just wanted to see if you have any that you know of. Thanks!

Ugh I'm exactly the same as you with dates, minus the interview...the date just got updated instead of interview requested. I'm scared this means a "no" for me.
