If there is a time to match poster ip to the ips in the emails in the admissions inbox, it is now.

I suspect that there is a joke here, but I don't quite understand it.r6_philly wrote:If there is a time to match poster ip to the ips in the emails in the admissions inbox, it is now.

Re: Yale 2010
Sorry, I had quite the discussion yesterday in the main forum about how one could match an online post with actual applicant/application file. So the joke is that Asha could be laughing at nitpicker's file right now...CardinalRules wrote:I suspect that there is a joke here, but I don't quite understand it.r6_philly wrote:If there is a time to match poster ip to the ips in the emails in the admissions inbox, it is now.

Seriously, I am surprised that someone who is comtemplating Yale Law School has never heard of the word oralist in that context before.

Probably isn't considering Yale Law school. Also, comment is a little pretentious. I have never used the word oralist in that context and have numbers at or above Yale's medians, etc.r6_philly wrote:Seriously, I am surprised that someone who is comtemplating Yale Law School has never heard of the word oralist in that context before.

I thought it is a pretty commonly used word? I think I learned it from my PSC100 text book. I just thought if a computer geek like me has seen it before it must be pretty common knowledge for liberal arts majors.Kronk wrote:Probably isn't considering Yale Law school. I used hating in the most playful sense. I know you mean no ill will.

Not to interrupt the scintillating banter, but I just came across this excellent article on the NFL SCOTUS case, published in YLJ (natch), herehttp://online.wsj.com/public/resources/ ... needle.pdf He persuasively argues against the NFL's position.
It's written by a guy who may have the greatest job on the planet: in addition to being a law prof, he is also the legal analyst for ESPN and SI, and is a frequent talking head on TV, giving the legal side of sports. Wow.

It's lunch time on Friday and no news from Yale? I guess Asha was too busy reading TLS to send out any decisions this week

Maybe we should make an effort to be less entertaining so as to get decisions faster

Selfishly, the slower the decisions come the better it is for me since there is no way for me to even be complete for another few weeksBenJ wrote:Maybe we should make an effort to be less entertaining so as to get decisions faster

On a side note, what if LSAC just doesn't want me to take the test? What happens to my file?
