I haven't... it just makes me sad that it hasn't changed... especially when people with lower stats are getting in.

My thoughts exactly. I spoke to an admissions officer on Monday or Tuesday (she was a complete moron and couldn't wait to get off the phone with me) and she said I'd definitely hear by the end of the week.

It's the end of the week. If no action by tomorrow ... then I don't know what to think. This is becoming really annoying. Especially when my numbers are in their range. I was only waitlisted because I'm not a URM.

Does that piss anyone else off? I got rejected by Temple because I'm not black.

status changed today to admissions documents needed. Called admissions and they told me I have been waitlisted. So the change to that status no longer means acceptance...... Should I send another LOCI????? What do you think the chances are of getting off the waitlist now?

I just got the same status change, but I can't call as I am at work. So...go ahead and call for me.

I just called... and had the weirdest conversation.

The lady I spoke with was nice, but put me on hold a few different times saying she needed to talk to people about my file? She came back and then had to go talk to them again...

After a few minutes she came back and said that I would receive an email tomorrow about my decision...

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!?!?!

Apparently I called right after goflmarlins...

So are they just picking who to tell over the phone now?

Mine just changed as well. I called and spoke with the same woman I would imagine everyone is talking to. She seemed like she didn't have time to answer questions and told me to expect an email probably tomorrow. I've heard a lot of really negative things about Miami's administration. This whole process hasn't shed any positive light on that criticism! Good luck to everyone who had a status change today!

I wonder if the people who got the status change on Tuesday have gotten e-mails of acceptance or if they are in the same boat as all of us...

I highly doubt that there are going to be any rejections coming directly from the held category. However, I do think that many of us are being demoted to the waiting list.

My friend just called who is in a similar situation and was told something close to this:

If you are rejected or wait listed you should receive an email tomorrow... If you are accepted you will receive something in the mail.
