Rejected from SMU via letter last monday

I'm sending in a deposit to Seton Hall
but still waiting on the waitlist at Cardozo

Sow hat do you think the deal is? From what I gather, no ones status check has changed, and no one has gotten a phone call.....has anyone called the admissions office?

Just called the office. The woman on the phone said that they would call acceptances and send mailings to people who were waitlisted/rejected. Also, she said that you're status doesn't necessarily have to change for a decision to be made...I don't know about that but OK.

something tells me that unless you're are those students with Outstanding Credentials...that we're probably gonna be waitlisted. It doesn't appear as though anyone has been accepted/rejected thus far.

I'm wondering why all the status for those WLers weren't just changed all at once. I mean, unless they're going one by one. Also, consider that we at TLS and LSN are a very small sample of the waiting applicants.

so it seems like if you get WLed, then your status says you are WLed, but if you get rejected then your status just changes to "decision rendered"? I wonder if it says "decision rendered" for acceptances too...?
