There are no administrators really ( i think 1 general SLS account) and no current studentsWhittie wrote:If we assume ~10 of the students in the group are deferrals, would that push the remaining straight admits to about 50? Also, did your calculation include administrators and current students?hammy393 wrote:Estimated that about 30 students are accepted off the WL (according to LSN WL% extrapolations), so potentially only less than 40 straight admits are leftdietcoke1 wrote:did we ever establish if that 430 included offers off of the WL last year. Sorry if this has been asked a bunch already but are all decisions typically made by April 1st?20172017 wrote:Joining the DLS train - good luck to those still standing!

Stanford has messed me up. Every time I see a DLS wave I get hopeful that it's finally my time to be rejected and I can move on. What kind of slick reverse psychology

I've been UR since 9/30. Should I just send a LOCI so they can renoticed and, by extension, reject me?

For those who have sent LOCI, about how long did it take for them to acknowledge that they received it?

I fear that my numbers are *just* good enough to not be an auto-ding and they're going to drag this out until April 30th before sending me my inevitable rejection.

That's the persistent question for me right now. S has small class size, which I like, and I'm from the west coast. But I really love Cambridge and know a few people over at H already who love it there.nimbus cloud wrote:Would you take S over H?Pozzo wrote:I fear that my numbers are *just* good enough to not be an auto-ding and they're going to drag this out until April 30th before sending me my inevitable rejection.

Yeah, I think they're similar enough where you can't go wrong with either. Although I don't know if SLS's higher clerkship # are due to self-selection or SLS being better at clerkship placement.Pozzo wrote:That's the persistent question for me right now. Did you get any full rides to CCN or lower that you're still considering, or is it basically between H/Y/S at this point?

Do you think it's too pushy if I call to make sure they got it? I sent it on Tuesday.unrelated wrote:Took them like a day or two before I got a confirmation email.catalina559 wrote:For those who have sent LOCI, about how long did it take for them to acknowledge that they received it?

Yes. They're very busy--Harvard took 10 full days before they confirmed receiving mine.catalina559 wrote:Do you think it's too pushy if I call to make sure they got it? Edit: I should note that I sent mine back in February, so they may be a bit more busy now compared to then.
