My understanding is that they release the decisions in the order the apps went complete. So, if you're like me and went complete in late October, shouldn't you be worried about no email? Asking bc I also notice people seem to be tracking this by interview date - 12/16 interview here btw

TAD, you're an OG. Remember me when you're finished with Yale and headed for Cravath or the Supreme Court clerkship or something thanksTAD wrote:JS1 + Columbia acceptance in one day. Go have a drink. You deserve it. Congrats!!!acz26 wrote:In!! What a day

I don't think ppl have been tracking by interview date necessarily; I think people were mentioning whether or not they interviewed because there's been some speculation about the importance of an interview request lol.
However, I don't believe that the decisions are released in the order apps went complete just based on last year's LSN. Some September submissions weren't in the first wave.

Second this. At least one December-complete applicant was accepted pretty early in today's wave.brinicolec wrote:dddddd90 wrote:My understanding is that they release the decisions in the order the apps went complete. Accepted at 6pm EST. 170/4.0 non-urn. Complete 10/28 , interview mid-December. For all you number crunchers here.
Thought I had a tough interview. Straight up told them I didn't want to work in NYC and that I am super-conservative. I guess they liked the honesty

So unlike previous cycles, no one has reported a Butler or a Hamilton with their letter. Do you guys think this means scholarship could be coming later?

currently prowling through the class of 2019 applicant thread and it seems like a good amount of butlers & hammys came out in the second wave.acz26 wrote:So unlike previous cycles, no one has reported a Butler or a Hamilton with their letter. Anyone know how far the waves were spread out last year? Not liking my chances but just curious. Congrats to all that got in today by the way!

Posted this earlier but I think it got lost in the admitted posts:
Looking at last year's LSN info:
They had their first wave (admits only) 1/19, then another 1/21 and some people the 22nd and 23rd too (including one WL). Next wave came 1/26 (admits only), and seems to have just continued for a couple days. Then there was the first wave of WLers 2/5. First straight up rejection was 2/10.
All that's to say, for anyone worried about not being in this wave, if CLS is sticking to their past schedule (which it seems like there are) there will be QUITE a few more waves of acceptances before the month is over.
Edit: aka we can worry together in February because I'm pretty sure I'm getting a WL at best, ding at worst lol.

There were also some people who went complete in September, didn't interview, and got accepted in the second wave.

Congrats to everyone who got in! This is an AMAZING school in a great area.
Safe to assume the wave is over? I went complete 11/30 and didn't get anything. Currently crying. Probably fucked up the interview. Anxiety is so real
