Not great news to me.
Oh damn, is that what that means? International as well, and it seems like all the internationals I've seen have LSATS above the median.
I guess so. If your GPA is evaluated as A/B/C/D by LSAC. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
How International evaluation is used in apps is kind of a black box. I think the general consensus is that if your eval is Above Average, then your grades will be treated as median (though probably not true for HYS), Superior will give you a boost, while Average will hurt your app a bit.
I have seen internationals get into schools with below median LSATs though, albeit only 1 point below.

That just seems so strange to me because in UG, they had a lot of international students.
Edit: But also, the class size is WAY bigger in UG...
Maybe NYU class is diverse, but most international JD students went undergrad in America. Idk. Then I looked at Penn's 509 and the number is zero. Maybe there is some misunderstanding.

Hey so I've been reading through posts here and it seems it's somewhat common to not have moved on from UR1 yet, right? I've been UR1 since 10/25 and I'm 25<GPA<50 and 75<LSAT. I've also been accepted at a few lower ranked T14s, so I'm hoping that's an indication that there's not something egregious on my applications that I somehow overlooked... [Edit: I found a problem, I put "New York University Law School" instead of "New York University School of Law" in a couple places, we'll see what impact that has...]

I've been UR1 since 10/27.
LSAT = 50
GPA < 25 (but only barely)

from what I see on LSN, some people with stats sitting around 168/169 & around the median GPA can get like 70k

Hey I'm going to be in NY this week and want to visit the school. Has anyone visited before? What did it entail and how should I go about it?

They'll give you material for a self-guided tour if you go to Wilf Hall during regular business hours. They have guided tours on some Fridays but I think that's over for the semester.

Should I try to talk to anyone in the admissions office? Will they note it in my file that I toured?

Idk, I did the guided tour so it was a little different. I'm sure at the very least they'll have you sign in and say they'll make a note of it in your file (that's what happened at CLS, at least).

if an international gpa is 2.9 with Superior evaluation, how would it be treated at t6?
would it be seen as 4.0?

So do we think regular admissions are done until after the holidays or are non-ED people still hearing back?
