I don't think this is true...Generally wrote:Looking at their graph on lawschoolnumbers, it seems everyone who got in has a higher GPA than me by a good bit. Except for one, but he probably has a really good reason for a low GPA and an awesome application... Anyway, this makes me feel like maybe it wasn't a terrible lor or the Dean hating my middle name. Maybe they just want those high GPAs at first and will consider -25% GPA splitters later off the PR list.

Did anyone make use of the optional essays? I feel like this has probably been covered before but...46 pages...

Great, thanks.benwyatt wrote:For future reference, there's a search bar at the top that you can use to look within the thread.Widdle_Dumpling wrote:Did anyone make use of the optional essays? I feel like this has probably been covered before but...46 pages...
A search for "optional" would reveal the answer to your question. I don't mean to be snippy or anything, I'd just rather we didn't have to reinvent the wheel a thousand times over the next few months.
That being said, yeah, my understanding is that most of the people ITT wrote the "Why Law and Why Duke" optional essay.

It is ironic, because just one day ago I solicited PT and Robin said he had transferred my request to the Director.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
