Reserved and below both 25ths. Taking this as a positive, to be honest. Will be withdrawing.

I really don't know what to think about Columbia. I submitted back in October. My stats are above both 75th's. It's been about a month since my interview (which honestly I would have rated my best interview, the person interviewing me was incredibly friendly and it was extremely conversational and comfortable) and I haven't heard anything since then.

are there both reserves and holds going out right now? I think hold means they haven't made a decision but they'll get back to you later (like april or may) whereas reserve is like a WL in that most of the movement will happen over the summer. are both going out?

Is this the same as being waitlisted, or held, or what? What is the typical success rate for waiting it out? Definitely bummed because Columbia was my top choice.
I believe reserve is columbias name for their wait list

Make of it what you will. Doesn't look too hot, but they do take some people, and you might always wonder if you don't ride it through. Condolences to the reserves/holds!

Reserved as well, but from what I gathered, this is their version of a waitlist. The guidelines they attached compare it to a waitlist at other schools - but I am assuming it is still different from being held? The silver lining is that they completely review every application on the reserve list again.

Just got held, above both medians. Does Columbia yield protect? Or should I start to be concerned about my softs...

Yeah I just got held too. LSAT at median and GPA above 75th. Maybe I did worse on the interview than I thought. K-JD also so maybe that's a factor.

Would it be worth it to retake the LSAT if you're held/waitlisted? Or would it just be better to send a LOCI and visit with no retake?

Yes especially if you are four points below median

Thanks! Thought so, just didn't know if it even mattered since my GPA is crap.

Columbia doesn't care as much about GPA. If you got 172+ you'd have a good chance

Waitlisted. Above both 75ths and had a great interview, not sure what happened in between to change their minds.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
