ETA: just thinking about it in regards to everyone else who has not been as fortunate to have a quick turn around.
Also same situation. Got in about 3 weeks after applying. Then I got more aid from UVA. That has me like WTF.
Do they not negotiate. I would think if they had a shot at getting you over UVA they'd definitely give you more $$.
They seem to be pretty firm with their no. I'm gonna draft up an email saying I have to get more or I'm out, plain and simple. We'll see what they say. At this point though, I would have to get considerably more than they are offering to make it more worthwhile than UVA.

Still nothing for me after being complete since 1/2. Really starting to lose my patience...not that that makes the slightest bit of difference.

Question mainly for recently admitted people. Did your financial aid offer come in the package? If not when/how did it appear?

Maybe they've changed it since the beginning of the cycle, but I was admitted in January and didn't receive my scholarship offer until March.

I was admitted early feb. and got my scholarship in the mail about a week after, so I think they've sped things up a bit

My guess is the scholarship committee starts later than the addcomm committee and eventually they meet up in the middle. Scholly people only have to look at the accepted files, adcomms have to look at ALL of them. Also there's some best practices guidelines from LSAC about having final offers prior to expecting a deadline.... I wish LSAC would just standardize first deposits to May 1 all around.

I'm sure it's been posted before, but has the consensus been that it's ok to contact admissions if the 12 week deadline has passed with no word?

Officially past the 12 week mark and getting close to deposit deadlines. Should I assume bad news is awaiting for me? I was hoping for Vandy, I have family at other professional schools there.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
