Do you mean https://hahls.law.harvard.edu/? I didn't have access to it yesterday, but I was able to log onto it today and check things out.

Oh I see. I can't log in still but maybe that's because I set-up my PIN late.

The flight won't cost me much on account of frequent flyer miles, but good lord the cheapest hotels are close to $200/night. I think I might put a tent in my carry-on.
Priceline name your own price is your new best friend. I use it almost every time I travel.

I have a question about housing.
I found a nice place that is about 30 minutes away on foot from HLS.
Would you recommend getting some place closer to campus?

So you're going to have to take the T?

I want to walk to campus as much as possible but I guess I'll have to take the bus/train a few times a week.

Dude, that 30min walk is going to get old fast. Exercise is great and all, but carrying a book bag on your back for thirty minutes each way just to get to class is not something you'll keep up for long.

you're right. i've done it in college and just ended up taking the bus most of the time.. :?
then assuming I take the bus/train and spend about 20 minutes each way, would living this far make my school life particularly difficult?
btw, how late do 1L classes usually end?

The most consistent piece of advice I've heard from upperclassmen is just bite the bullet and live as close as possible your first year. But again ask some 2 and 3Ls as none of us have done this before either.

We may never have gone to Harvard but I've definitely lived a 30min walk from something and said, "There's no way I'm walking there every day." I don't think we need to pretend that everything about Harvard, including transportation to get to class, is completely unfathomable!

What bank is everyone looking to use? I have Wells Fargo right now, and there aren't any locations in Mass. I'm between Bank of America and Citi. Any advice?

:D Whatever bro you hadn't been gilded in crimson when you made those previous walks. It's different.

Just cancelled my reservation in Gropius. I know demand is high for the midget cube ;-) don't walk, run while it lasts

Rising 2L here. B of A is most convenient by far. The HLS area has a ton of B of A ATMs, and there's even a B of A ATM right inside the main law school building (WCC).

Did any of 5/24 WL admits receive admittance letter package already?
I received a postcard and HLS baggage tag yesterday but not the letter.

Why don't you just get a bike? Boom, 30 minute walk turns into 10 minute bike ride. Problem solved.
