Also, it seems a bit backwards to make people pay for a need based aid app.

But NA is also performing a service for you. Absent a standardized methodology, each LS/grad program would have different forms and documents to complete -- as they used to do in the dark ages. If you are applying to multiple schools that require parental info, NA is a pretty good deal, IMO.Also, it seems a bit backwards to make people pay for a need based aid app.
I imagine working in FA is like working at the DMV so I cut everyone a little slackks2499 wrote:I actually called yesterday and asked if I had to include parental info even though I will be 29 at matriculation. Got a very curt "yes" and that was all. Their whole FA process is such a turn off.AMilfordMan wrote:+1dproduct wrote:Need Access is the worst, FYI to anyone that has not done it.

WUSTL pretty much universally > everyone else in all aspects.ks2499 wrote:Haha, you're probably right. I do feel bad for them - I used to work in an admissions office and there are some crazy calls that come in, but I guess I'm just spoiled after dealing with WUSTL. I swear, they're the friendliest people on the planet.
In the end, I'll suck it up and fill out the forms like everyone else, though.
I did, went under review 11/28, decision rendered 1/8.Inconceivable! wrote:Has anyone received a decision after going under review just once?
Applied Early December and went under review 1/18, expecting to hear back probably beginning of March, but wish it was sooner.
Nope. I actually haven't received any confirmation from them at all concerning my FAFSA or Need Access.maxmartin wrote:anyone has received letter of financial aid?

I know the first batch of acceptances saw this notice in December but maybe everyone sees it regardless of the results? Thanks. I haven't gotten any emails yet.. Nervous
AlanShore, shortly after the status update (decision rendered), I got an acceptance email although the message at the top said they would send me a postal mail.AlanShore wrote:Can someone who got in or was wl or rejected let me know if they got the message at the top that said they would be receiving something in the mail?
