I have no interest in going to Virginia and I don't even know what I would put in a LOCI, so I probably won't send one.
Well, in that case...
Sorry, that post came off as really bitchy, its super early.
I mean I don't have an interest in physically being in Virginia. I should probably withdraw though!

You have no idea how happy this makes me. Not only that you'll free up some space at NU for me, but also that you can say that and be totally serious. Can't wait to see you at Yale.

Although, writing that LOCI could be a great exercise in writing persuasive arguments about shit you dont give a shit about.

You are right, though at this point, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to go to law school. All 170+ applicants rejoice that someone has fallen from your ranks!

I will withdraw when I break it to my mom that the only smart person in the family has decided to remain A Poor forever.

I agree with Sunny/Shinton.
Your guys' numbers make you pretty easy to match to your applications, are you sure you want to say this stuff in a public forum? It could very well seal the deal at some schools.
Also Worm, pretty sure Yale doesn't consider Chicago offers in negotiations.

I agree with most of what you say, but I'm sure adcomms have more important/interesting things to do than sit on TLS waiting for people to say dumb shit

I thought about pasting my resume line for line on LSN to help them in this process.

I don't think its particularly incriminating that I'm having doubts about spending 3 years of my 20s incurring $200,000 in debt with no safety net whatsoever, especially since I have been without a job or permanent residence for extended periods of time before. Being neurotic in these circumstances is ok, right? Listen to my logic, adcomms!

Seems pretty to withdraw an app if you have no interest in attending, IMO.

I don't think they are keeping up with these threads like we do but quite a few acknowledge at least some times reading forums like these.
I would just be careful about really egregious stuff (like saying you would never actually attend a school, they are just your pawn). Then again I'm overly neurotic so whatever, disregard what I said.

How was I unchill? I hope that didnt sound pretentious.
I got mugged in Chi my one time there (got roughed up in the process) and although its completely irrational, after years of hearing Kanye talk about how dangerous the city is, I've kind of built an irrational fear of the city. So every time hear something bad about Chicago it just sticks.
Trying to get more free money is the definition of chill.

Just talk about UChi/NW in the UVA thread and vice versa.
Crisis averted.
