Non URM above 75ths as well, and I'm not seeing anything pretty come from Berkeley.
Same here, and I'm from CA too, and it's really annoying because so many in my family went to Berkeley (but not the LS).
YP is coming....

I had a dream last night that my cat (the real Risa) got into Berkeley but I didn't. She does, after all, have a great "overcoming adversity" story. She grew up on the streets, got pregnant as a teenager and then picked up by a shelter who helped her turn her life around

).

My wife told me she had a dream last night where I was doing great in law school "except for the class about horses". This application process does strange things to our heads (and our loved ones' heads).

consoling myself probably getting rejected with the knowledge that the closest in-n-out to berkeley is in oakland. honestly that is a factor in my law school decision that is consoling me that i'll prob end up at davis (which has an in-n-out close to campus: SCORE)

I take consolation in my dislike of San Francisco and its boring homogenous culture.

In other words, if I go to Berkeley, I will probably primarily use my car to go to In-N-Out? Seriously, though...how is there not an In-N-Out right next to campus? They could make SO much money.

I think closest to campus goes to UCLA. Practically on campus if I'm not mistaken.

Westwood Village though. Ironically much closer to the medical school. The law school almost couldn't be further away.

While we're on the topic of burgers, I really enjoyed Bongo Burger. Didn't seem like there were nearly as many In-n-Outs in NorCal as there are in SoCal.

Berkeley has made a big effort to keep fast food out of the downtown/campus area. The only fastfood joint in the area is the McDonald's on University. That's why you just roll down to Oakland when you want some.

Berkeley is also a "nuclear free zone," which I imagine causes a lot of trouble for the UCB Nuclear Engineering department
