theoretically, there is supposed to be a first, second, and final read... if your case is like mine, there will be a first read, and then THREE SUBSEQUENT second reads, each spaced about 10-14 days apart, and you may feel like you are going crazy.
I have gone crazy eons ago.
But theoretically they should deliver a decision to us by April after which we will have put in our deposits at other schools, no?

I've been complete since 1/10 and have yet to receive the login name and password...for a while I just thought they didn't have an online status checker. Think I should call the office? lol

i seriously don't think there is any rhyme or reason to how they sort through the files... compared to some of you on the forum, i'm on the low end--164/3.71, asian, so not URM (i think). i just think it depends on who gets their hands on your file and how they feel about it... then how the second person/group feels about it. it also depends on how many read it... I think the website says it can be one person or a group. gl to everyone still waiting! I'm waiting to hear from ucla and it's really annoying--and there's no status checker! hoping to hear about some money soon...O.o

She's such a prude...I'd love to take it to the next step but just don't know when it's going to happen. I want to take the initiative and ask her what the hell is up...but don't want to scare her off. Guess I'll just keep waiting for her to come around.
+1, 167, non-URM, 12/1 complete date. I just want some lovin'!
+2. 167, non-URM, 12/13 complete. ugh.

Does everybody (or a majority) of applicants go under 2nd committee review?

"Decisions typically are mailed beginning in mid-December and concluding around mid-May."
from usc law website
mid-may is definitely past deposit deadlines -_-

From what I read in last year's thread, they sent scholarship out via postal mail, so they may have already forward you one and you haven't received it yet. **FINGERS CROSSED**

From what they told me, schollies should go out this week. If they stick to that, or how long it takes for them to arrive, are entirely separate matters...

Ahhh, here's hoping! I'm visiting in a week and a half, and I'd love to know what I'm looking at while I'm there.
