Thanks.
Be careful flooding them with things. Possible that it means your application goes to the back. But either way, the "why essays" are here:

Not sure how important this is for Berkeley, as opposed to say, Virginia.

FWIW, my application didn't have much in the way of Berkeley specific stuff (no Why Berkeley or adjusted PS) and I got in earlier this week (11/22 UR) Cal doesn't have a particularly transparent process so I wouldn't lose hope just yet.

I think it's a bit early to do so. Did you submit a "Why Berkeley?"
Disagree, only because Berkeley is on record as saying "the earlier the better." In other words, get your best foot in the door ASAP.
Also, at this point if you're not in but have a chance, it will likely be through Committee Review; you might want to use this to buoy your chances.
yeah, i'm definitely torn. i don't want to annoy them, but I didn't submit a "Why Berkeley" and i want them to know i'm really interested (Note: I did write an addendum about my intellectual interests, but didn't tie it to Berkeley as strongly as I should have)

I'm at 11/22, also. Above 75% LSAT, juuuuuuust above 25% GPA. I doubt they'll have me, but I'm a wonderful catch. Too good to let go.

Berkeley seems to have broken out of its "black box" reputation this year. Seems a lot of non-stellar GPA but really high LSAT people (myself included) are getting in. I honestly didn't expect to (almost didn't apply!)

11/22 here and still waiting. Above 75th LSAT between median and 75th GPA. Nothing Berkeley specific in my app though.

I've seen people refer to committee review. Has that not started yet?

So far, it seems like TLS hates on NYU, GULC, Cornell and now Berkeley? I swear, if the world operated on TLS opinion, the only acceptable thing to do is be
editor of law review at Yale.

Glad to see I am not the only 11/22 still waiting. I am honestly expecting a WL/Reject. Their LSN graph is CRAZY.
