Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Well the point is that it has been very, very consistent this cycle for what the status checker signifies. Something under mailings= acceptance. Nothing under mailings= not an acceptance.jamiLAW wrote:Lol my point is that mailings/decision finalized means nothing except that they've reached a decision. People were making all these theories during the first big wave of acceptances, only to find out that the status checker was pretty much random.
Everyone go do something to take your mind off this, because you won't know for sure until you're contacted by BC!

Tough break. I don't have much hope either, couple more points on the LSAT than you but much lower GPA.CrimLaw300 wrote:Damn. Waitlisted yesterday via snail mail. Didn't expect that.

This concerns me...with your numbers, I figured you'd be waitlisted at worst. My LSAT is only one point higher, so don't really know what to think.CrimLaw300 wrote:Damn. Dinged yesterday via snail mail. Didn't expect that.

No email today. Sadness. Has anyone called the office to inquire about a DR? I live abroad and likely won't get any mail they sent for at least month (since we're just about to hit Chinese New Year when everything shuts down for ages).

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Snow today in boston is pretty reasonable for new england--everything seems to be open so hopefully more decisions come out soon!
I'm on hold and was wondering if we think there is a chance we will get decisions before the end of february, or if I should just stop thinking about BC till then? I already sent an LOCI for my hold so I'm just hoping for a decision soon.
