Mine had incomplete listed but between 2-5 PM today went from incomplete (x/x/xx) -> blank.

Anyone else?

Just visited the law school today. Let me know if you have any questions and I can try to answer them.

I was planning on negotiating a bigger scholly, and before I even brough it up in my meeting, the Dean told me it was worth a try (especially if I got higher grades last semester, which I did). She basically implied that scholarship amounts are largely based on GPA, so if you got a good GPA last semester you may want to consider sending a new transcript if you're trying to negotiate.

How are you going to go about negotiating with W&M with your new transcript in tow? Will you just write them a letter (or e-mail?)? What would you say?

I'm kinda clueless about the whole negotiating thing.

Yep. Gonna email the financial aid person with my other offers, let her know a new transcript is in the mail, and keep my fingers crossed. If you want me to PM you the exact email I write (when I write it) let me know.

Got my packet yesterday...+12k with a stipulation of a C average. Not too bad.

For those of you who still haven't been accepted who feel like you interview well, I'd definitely suggest scheduling a visit. You can choose from three option for your visit, a tour, a meeting with an admissions dean, and a 1L class. I did all three, and the meeting with the dean was basically an interview (in a good way) even though I was already accepted. If it's financially/logistically possible, I'd definitely suggest trying to visit and express your interest in W&M at your meeting, it might give you the extra nudge you need.

I just spoke with admissions, the fellowships that you apply for with an optional essay are different from the out-of-state scholarships that have been offered. Decisions on the application fellowships will not be made until March.

I was accepted today! :D Found out via online status checker, and will be getting a nice, plump package in the mail pretty soon. Very pleasantly surprised, as I submitted my app on 01/03, and went complete on 01/11. I expected to start getting decisions around late March/early April, considering how late I applied.

FTFM

Congrats! I just checked all my status checkers and was surprised to see "Congratulations! Admit Packet Mailed" in the Mailing field.

My numbers are 3.82 and 164. The eight day turn-around from my app going complete to acceptance is really odd, considering that people who applied way back in the fall still haven't heard back. I thought apps were evaluated in the order of when they went complete?

They hold a large percentage of their applications and don't give a decision until March.

I think heavenwood summed it up best a few pages ago.
HeavenWood wrote:
MOST will not get a decision before March, because MOST applicants will be waitlisted or rejected (W&M has a sub-20% acceptance rate). With the exception of those on the cusp, the vast majority of accepted students will receive their offers of admission well before then.
