Third update. Time to start checking the mail everyday.

Also, how big are these letters? I have a small mailbox at my apartment building. Anything larger than a #10 envelope will probably be held by the frontdesk and I'd rather not pester them everyday asking if I have mail.

If they were rejecting you it already would have happened
they have sent out rejections already.

I bet you and the poster who was GU undergrad, both got sent to professors for reads for some reason

Well I had an interview on 11/1 with an alum. Do they send WL snail mail as well? That's what I'm real worried about.

status checker dates: 11/2, 11/4, 11/9, and just now changed to 11/16

today is 11/15...

is the consensus here that a change in status date essentially means they opened/reviewed your file that day?

the only rejections thus far have been ED applicants... there are several people (including myself) who have status checkers stuck in mid/late october with no updates. there will probably be a big wave of RD waitlists/rejections in the coming weeks.

I wouldnt read much into it. Seems like it was a regular weekly update. I should hear something this week though.

They're like...a little bigger than card-sized. They have a little Georgetown seal sticker thing on the back of it, and are (I think) cream-colored.

I applied to GULC on 11/1 and never heard anything, not even an acknowledgement email. Is now the time to give their office a call? They're the only ones I have not heard anything from at all aside from Yale....
