Still no EDs or November applicants yet though, right?jpk5372 wrote:oh jeez me too...oh god now I can't leave my mailbox....re-applicant wrote:mine as well!TLSNYC wrote:DON'T GIVE UP HOPE FOLKS. MY STATUS JUST GOT CHANGED TO DECISION LETTER SENT!
I didn't go complete until the 15th for whatever reason if I remember right. Anyway, perhaps I should've said a few weeks if that makes you feel better (I sense an attitude for no apparent reason...let's hope that's me not being able to interpret a person through a computer screen). You're a rarity from what I've seen throughout this thread. It always seems like two weeks to a month from what I tracked. I could be completely wrong, but regardless it doesn't prove anything. We both know nothing.shanshan333 wrote:I submitted 11/14 and went under review 11/22. It definitely does not take a month to go under review... It also obviously has nothing to do with numbers as mine are a total stretch for NYU.
Haha, I agree that we both know nothing. No attitude. I'm just more confused as to the logic behind NYU's reviewing process. FWIW, I'm sure I'll be under review for months and in no way shape or form am I happy about this status... all it means it more waiting.Non-Chalant1 wrote:I didn't go complete until the 15th for whatever reason if I remember right. More importantly all you people listing October dates...do realize that is generally early right? Obviously people who apply later then that will take a longer time to get to. If you applied before the October LSAT or around it...I would assume you would be processed faster just based on following these threads for a couple years. (lurking really)
thanks, that is calmingdbrddr wrote:Sent my app in September, still under review (10/20). I'm in at HLS, so I think it's doubtful that if you're still UR as of 10/20, you're screwed.

Sorry... not sure what this is in regards to?Non-Chalant1 wrote:The thing is birdlaw...though I see where you would speculate that with your spreadsheet...I didn't even go under review until this Monday. It also seems to be a theme with people going under review a month later. I'm a reach for NYU, but just saying.

anyone with unlikely numbers have their status change? I don't want to get excited only to receive a rejection/WL in the mail.gatorgirl4life wrote:eh i think it varies. i submitted 11/1 and went UR 11/9...i doubt it means much, but i do hope those of us who applied in november start hearing back soon! congrats to everyone with an acceptance letter in the mail already!
I think Non-Chalant is still doubting that all "Decision Mailed" people are in, since s/he felt NYU was a reach school for him/er.birdlaw117 wrote:Sorry... not sure what this is in regards to?Non-Chalant1 wrote:The thing is birdlaw...though I see where you would speculate that with your spreadsheet...I didn't even go under review until this Monday. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong... but c'mon. Has there ever been a school that sends our WL or rejections before acceptances? Yes, I realize that it is possible this a mixed bag of decisions. But I would put a fairly hefty wager on these being all acceptances.bdubs wrote:I think Non-Chalant is still doubting that all "Decision Mailed" people are in, since s/he felt NYU was a reach school for him/er.birdlaw117 wrote:Sorry... not sure what this is in regards to?Non-Chalant1 wrote:The thing is birdlaw...though I see where you would speculate that with your spreadsheet...I didn't even go under review until this Monday. Anyone know if NYU mailed waitlist or dings last year? Most schools who do mail accepts are now doing e-mail WL and dings.birdlaw117 wrote:I'll eat my words if I'm wrong... but c'mon. Yes they mailed, at least late in the cycle.bdubs wrote:
