If you actually paid out of pocket or whatever, then I could understand the idea of letting lots of people in and letting them sink or swim, but not when their education is payed for by everyone else and when they sink it screws everyone else.Hildegard15 wrote:Yes yes yes there are definitely people who want to go to law school who should not because they have zero conception of what they are getting into. Guys I think I have decided where I will go if all aid was the same and every school accepted me. Been actually doing research on where I would want to work, what schools do well there, what schools are good to be at and all that jazz. I am thoroughly excited for August!

Charlottesville is really great. I could wax poetic for a while, but I feel it is a perfect blend of beautiful seasons, cool restaurants, lively art/music scene, closeness to mountains, proximity to DC/Philly/NYC, easy commuting, and low COL. If you have any particular questions, I always love talking about C'ville.pleadthafif wrote:Has anyone visited Charlottesville? $160,000 in D.C is the same as $251,000 in Manhattan according to this http://money.cnn.com/calculator/pf/cost-of-living/theugg wrote:But DC is even more expensive.basedvulpes wrote:+1, would definitely opt for DC or a smaller city if ableGenerally wrote:Regardless of where I go to school though I have decided one thing, don't want NYC biglaw.
