It seems like they're going in reverse order of js1s?

Not sure.fivestarfolds wrote:What does surviving mean?
After the equivalent wave last cycle, there was a much smaller group of WLs on the following Monday and Tuesday. There were straight acceptances on the 8th and 15th for more recent applicants and long-waiters. So it could go either way.......

-12th, 15th, 18th = a couple rejections on each day, but a small amount (more like a sprinkling than a wave)lawschool22 wrote:So I assume based on the strength of the WL I am headed for a ding. When was the next wave of dings draw?
-26th, 29th , 30th (and one on May 2nd) = ten+ rejections, a bit larger than the 12th-18th wave.
As well, the rejections seemed to be mainly later completes, ie feb, march, some January.

I wonder if I can take any solace in being in what, if last year is any indication, is close to the end of massive wave of WLs. I'm assuming not.
Seriously trying not to cry at work. I know people say to take this as a positive sign, but it just feels like a rejection to me. I'm a big planner who wanted to go ahead and try to find roommates, etc, so not having a ton of time to do that if I eventually get in worries me.

The uncertainty and inability to get things set sucks. But the WL at Harvard is usually fairly generous, and if you're willing to put in the wait there is a good chance you'll get in eventually.jasper09 wrote:I wonder if I can take any solace in being in what, if last year is any indication, is close to the end of massive wave of WLs. I'm set on HLS, so I'm probably different, but I see it as a few tough months for something that will last a lifetime.
