Someone should call the admissions office and ask what updates mean on the status checker, I'm in class right now otherwise I totally would do it.

What? Why would someone do that?

Someone who posted earlier already beat you to it. Supposedly, from the conversation they had with the admissions office, the update doesn't mean anything other than your application didn't go into review that day. Which to me means that if your File Complete update is your second File Complete update, a decision has been made. You just don't know what that decision is yet. I would imagine that if another month goes by and you still haven't heard anything, then you probably got waitlisted or rejected. Just my two cents.

Pretty sure that's not the admissions office's concern.

Well I called the admissions office yesterday, and they said they are finishing up the package and will mail it out Friday. Also, the lady said that scholarships will be released sometime in the middle of this month.

Just passing on some helpful information for those of you in the same boat as me.

Also, still 1/29.

By the way, regarding said addiction, has anyone else dragged all the aces2.lsac.org/stringoflettersandnumbers links up to their toolbar? Because I have (and renamed them with short abbreviations so they all fit) and it makes it so much easier to rifle through all the status checkers of schools I've applied to. It also makes it easier to waste 15 minute blocks checking each school over and over.

I have so many that mine are in a separate folder in my bookmarks instead of on the toolbar.
