Updated to 12/11.

thelassocrat is the only 169 acceptance I see on LSN, so hopefully she's the start of a trend!

Yeah, it would look a lot more like the first 100 pages of the Cornell thread.

So the fact that some people got phone calls while others got status updates and no phone calls (me) makes me think I'm getting dinged. Bummer.

Yeah, I'm the same way. And we're numbers twins so I'm hoping its good news for both of us. Either way, we're in this together!! Although my update was 12/9 and there's been no word or movement since then. Fingers crossed

mines 11/9. it seems to be, based on lsn that right now they are just trying to maintain/establish some medians. I think that the more holistic approach will kick in, in early 2010 and they will let some of us in who they have been waiting to decide on for a while. many people have gotten wled/rejected so far and we're not them, you know?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most/all of the people who have been wl'ed or rejected so far applied ED. So I'm not sure that no news means us RD folks who've been under review for weeks are safe.

I've been saying this before in different UVA admission threads and I'll keep saying it.

Last cycle, I went complete 11/10, RD. I never heard a thing from the school until 1/29 when I got an E-mail asking me to call them.

I'm here at UVA now. I just took the third exam of my 1L fall classes. Don't give up hope just because you haven't heard back. Give it time, they're going to finish going through the EDs first and notifying all of them before they even start on RDs. You may not hear back for a while, but that doesn't mean it's not good news.

Ugh the VSO Committee has had my status pending for almost 2 months now....and the Admissions Committee won't review it until a status has been determined.

THIS really sucks...b/c I've been UR since 10/30!!!!

means absolutely nothing according to people earlier in this thread. my status checker updated to 12/1 and still nothing.
