Ao here we are at 4/29...has anyone in second review changed yet? Do you think that email was a nice way of saying "you will be waitlisted on April 30"?

Last year's thread shows that a lot of the email people heard on May 1st, but I feel like tomorrow will be a big day for decisions since it's Friday. I hope at least some of us get acceptances, though. Good luck everyone!

what was the breakdown of those who heard? were there a bunch of acceptances in that batch?

I just got an e-mail offering a space on the waitlist.

I was one of the people who got that e-mail saying I would have an acceptance or waitlist by 4/30. I'm not going to stay on the waitlist though since I got an almost full scholarship to Chapman.

got the same email. It's too bad cause I really liked the idea of going to santa clara back in january when I applied, but since it took them 4 months to get back to me and I already deposited at wake, it's unlikely at this point that SCU would offer me anything that would get me to pick them anyway.

Another cycle, another SCU waitlist offer -- why are you such a tease, Santa Clara? Why can't you be more like USF or McGeorge and admit me already?

On a more serious note -- I have to decide between McGeorge (w/a nice scholly), USF (no scholly) or sticking it out on the SCU waitlist. What do you folks think? Anyone see any difference between these three schools nowadays? Similar rankings, albeit they command different positions/reputations in the Bay Area job market (which is where I ultimately want to end up).

Hate to say it, but I'm 99% sure it's a waitlist offer. I called admissions yesterday and was told FT is full at this point. I got my waitlist offer today after two months of "In Committee" action. Good luck.

From my personal experiences, SCU carries much more clout among the Bay Area legal community than the other schools. But this may be coming from a biased perspective considering I currently work in the Silicon Valley. My boss earned his J.D. from Stanford, and he even comments on how great of a school SCU is. Best of luck with the waitlist... I'm still waiting to hear back regarding my 2nd review.

admitted to PT via status checker....I applied to both..it also says in the notification box I have been sent a wait list letter...i suppose that's for fulltime.


does this mean i can stay on the waitlist for full time while accepting the offer for part time?
