ditto. we were probably dinged together, lol
::high-fives::

I guess we don't know. Penn is a huge long shot for me, so I'm not expecting much other than the thrill of the unknown.
mine also just changed to 12/10 (GPA >25%, LSAT >75%, non-URM, RD). hmmmm.
haha i think everyone's right to say that it's most likely coincidence that we were all reviewed together, as everyone who has said they've been reviewed on 12/10 thus far has no common traits (numbers, URM status, ED/RD)...

arg im addicted to gambling. i applied to wayyyyy to many schools who won't take me, but its been thrilling/nerve-wracking nonetheless! At least i got into a school i'd actually attend already...

Any idea about softs?

penn cares about softs? i thought they were all about gaming the rankings, YP, and stats
Their seemingly random admit vs. waitlist for most number combinations would imply otherwise.

Also, I don't think liberal social policy necessarily dictates views about fiscal or military policy... or at least it doesn't to me. I'm a bleeding-heart liberal by trade but I support a number of traditionally conservative social policies, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to monetary policy, and I don't have a problem with justified military intervention.

You should tell this to Duke and the hold they placed on me off of priority track.
I wonder if a school with more southern cred like Duke has a higher percentage of military apps.

Hmmm... I don't think so. We love pics in the TTC, but I don't recall seeing any in uniform. :?

It's likely the last week of December if they do anything at all for RD this year.

A Penn acceptance would help soothe the pain if Chicago rejects me the week prior. Ahhh, I hate this.

True, good plan. anyone?
sup. squarely in yellow territory, and wrote them a half-assed LSAT addendum for the required essay. i don't have a particularly good excuse for my LSAT retake, so i didn't write one to any school, except for penn, because i sure as shit wasn't writing a why penn or 5-year plan

regarding my status, see my earlier post:

ah. thanks for the input, even though it sounds like my lack of status-date-changing is a bad thing :(

omg...

I was told to call the Penn admissions office and they asked me to basically deliver my GPA addendum on the spot, and I did.

I was so nervous that I had to take a dump first and it was so intense I started seeing stars. O_O
