Same here! I keep refreshing the status checker, but I think it's time to leave it alone for a few hours. Hopefully we find out soon!

If it gets mailed today, it should be pretty quick. I think I got mine 3 days after it showed up, and I'm in AZ. IIRC, it was sent priority mail.

Keep in mind W&M plainly states that most applicants will receive a decision in March. From what i've seen only the auto-admits, or close thereto, are receiving their decisions now. The rest of us in the murky middle will have to fight it out amongst ourselves in March...

That's pretty much what the lady at the admissions office said when I called.

Don't fret yet, it just means you probably won't get a scholarship if you're not admitted yet if you will be accepted later. It's a play on the rankings game, they scoop up all the bigger numbers they can get and then fill up the unused spots in March with us. Yay leftovers!

However, look at last year's LSN. Hardly anyone in our boat gets admitted in March. It's admitted within a few weeks or WL/reject.

eshort, if the stats in your profile are correct, I highly doubt you have anything to worry about. If you ARE out, you'll be the first, and it'll be YP, but I highly highly doubt that's the case.

Anyone want to give me some insight into my chances... 164 3.59 (big upward trend). I feel like I am looking at a waitlist, admit if I am lucky, outright reject if I am a bit unlucky. Does this sound like an accurate prediction? I've become more and more interested in W&M, and I love the opportunities available for those interested in Constitutional law.

w&m doesn't really reject anyone, so it's either WL (soft reject-no one was pulled from WL last year) or accept. I'm in a similar situation with 165 and 3.5. could go either way, but my GPA is holding me back slightly. they did accept one dude with 165 3.2 or so this cycle, but he was a single outlier amid a sea of vacancies.
