How long do they usually take? I have a 11/12 Pending Decision and an 11/20 "Your application has been completed."

FWIW, I sent it in on 11/12, I think. Does this mean they haven't even started reviewing it yet?

From the Hourmumd.com Probability Calculator:
14% of people with similar numbers as you received scholarships and they got an average of $36,400.

So yeah, there is a chance based upon past numbers. 14% not a great chance, but if you are one of them and the average is similar, $36,400 is a good chunk of change.

Can you provide the link for this probability calculator. Sounds intriguing.

The thing is that hourmumd only shows statistical probability based numbers. Inherently limited information, of course. For instance of the people with my numbers (167, 3.49) 19% received scholarships and the average was $59,143. Better all around. So, take hourumd with a grain of salt...it only can be used to give you a general idea.

Status checker updated to say "Decision Rendered" today. The Fees section down below is completely blank. Should I take this to mean that I was denied? Have all acceptances come via phone call?

When did you apply/go complete? I don't think the fees section means anything.

Does anyone think I have a chance at a very small scholarship? 163/3.96?

I don't think it means anything. I got a letter first, then I got a call a week or more later. My fees section did not say anything after my decision status changed to rendered.

I went complete on 11/24 and decision status date is today. No phone call. Every other school I've been accepted to has had the first deposit amount in the fees section, but maybe BC doesn't utilize that function.

Thanks! I thought so. I'm at work and was feeling too impatient to wait to know.

IS it bad that I already have slapped a BC Law sticker on my car and my mom's as well? I did it while she was asleep and she told me that I better be going to BC!

Dear BC,

Thanks for today's email reminding me to apply for the ABA Legal Scholarship for minorities. It means so much more that you thought of me for this scholarship after rejecting me on 12/15.

XOXO,

At least it's applicable to all schools you're applying to?

(Says the girl who got the email as well and is the furthest thing possible from being a minority.)
