I appreciate the curiosities you show to me. I am from the beautiful Catalunya in the land of what American people like to call Spain, but really is supposed to call it Regne d'Espanya or just Espanya. My first language is Català, then I learn Spanish. I have picked up English along the way from time to time, but I lost much of my Català in the meanwhile. I love the English tongue, even if it is very difficult to have mastery of it and I have hard time learning how to articulate my ideas correct in that language on writing. I will try and keep going to learn most English as possible for me. It is difficult here in law school, but I manage so far so good. More so, I do no know why people here keep having an association of my posting with a "flame." It must be some nickname they given me while I be here. I do not know what is it or why the say "flame" when speak of me and my ideas. Whatever the case be, I will keep posting. I have no ashame of how I sound or what i say or how it come out. I will keep going forward and progressing and better my English.
Thank you for your interest. I am having similar interest in you. I hear you have admission to Stanford. Congratulation! That is impressive very very much so. Where are you from?

I got 55 fee waivers and used 24 of them. For safety I applied to the 3T and a few 4T early in the admissions process, then applied to all appealing schools in the bottom of of the 1T, and after receiving my LSAT score I sent some more all the way to the top 6.
I decided to post every admission and to keep a complete LSN profile just in case someone might benefit from it. I have withdrawn from most of this schools to free my spot and the $.

Good job on that LSAT. I hope I'll see one of your T6 decisions be an acceptance. Good Luck.Luis Gomez wrote:Almost.Desert Fox wrote:Luis did you apply to every school in America! You seem to have a ton of acceptances.Luis Gomez wrote:Nice e-mail from Toledo informing me of $$$.

In at both NYU and USC.
My USC acceptance must have crossed paths with the withdrawal email I sent them.
I'm waiting on a big-time scholarship decision from NYU before I withdraw (or not) from there.

Are you really considering NYU? I thought that you were absolutely, definitely going to SLS. (Just curious.)crackberry wrote:In at both NYU and USC.

Well first of all, if I were to get into YLS, it would make my decision very very difficult, so nothing is absolute or definite.managamy wrote:Are you really considering NYU? I thought that you were absolutely, definitely going to SLS. (Just curious.)crackberry wrote:In at both NYU and USC.

I think I will end up at Stanford regardless, but NYU's Environmental Law Scholars Program is incredible. I actually don't think there's a chance I get it, but I want to see if I do. If not, I'll withdraw immediately; if I do sneak in, I'll have to visit and discuss it with the profs and students associated with it.

I've heard great things about the program too; you just seemed like a hard-core West-Coaster. Best of luck on getting the choice!crackberry wrote:Well first of all, if I were to get into YLS, it would make my decision very very difficult, so nothing is absolute or definite.managamy wrote:Are you really considering NYU? Well while I've been converted to a hard-core West Coaster, my family is in NYC so that's another consideration. This shouldn't be interpreted as me getting cold feet on SLS. I'd say it's about a 95 percent chance I end up there. Just making sure I cover my bases.managamy wrote:I've heard great things about the program too; you just seemed like a hard-core West-Coaster. In at St. Thomas (Minneapolis) with a full scholarship, interestingly they only ask for good standing for all of their students to retain their $$. Oh well.
