Yeah, I scheduled my interview the day we got the email and didn't complete my CSS + noncustodial profile + scholly form until the 5th.

I'm interviewing today and pretty nervous about it. Duke is probably my #2 choice and I really, really want it to be financially feasible for me to attend.

Does Duke interview?
After acceptance with scholarship committee
Oh, should have used the search button, apparently it was discussed recently. But very interesting concept. Do you know if any other top schools do that?
As far as I know it's only Duke. I think it stems from the PT situation, they probably don't have enough info to adequately asses everyone for scholarship in 10 days and without interview

Just had my scholly interview. Was pretty low-key, no real curveballs! She was extremely nice!

Was it basically the same sort of thing as admissions interviews? How does the finance aspect come into it?

Yeah it essentially why law, why Duke, and then something like what do you want the scholarship committee to know about you when making a decision that might not have been captured in your application/CSS profile?

Nice, looking forward to mine later this week. Did they give you any indication on the decision timeline?
Yeah I asked explicitly, she said the committee meets at the end of January, probably start to notify in early/mid Feb.

Got my admissions packet this weekend. I really enjoyed the semi-personalized letter that they send. They specifically spoke to my interest and experience in politics/government and how Duke is a great school to continue that path.

How long from "decision made, watch for e-mail" until one actually receives the decision?

not sure how long since I didn't know when it updates, but 6PM seems to be a really common time.

They are doing interviews through the first week of Feb (mine included) so I hope that's not true...

Also had my interview today and can confirm it's true. I'm sure it's not the only time they meet.

Interviewed today! It was really enjoyable and got me even more excited about the school than I already was  I was told the committee meets end of January and you receive your aid package on a rolling basis (so today's interviewees hear first)

Finally went UR1 today after being stuck at complete since 11/30. How long has the average wait been so far from UR1 to decision?

Did you get the "what should the committee know about you?" Question? I'm struggling with this one a little

I just explained my family's financial situation in a little more detail than I could include on the CSS. My interviewer specifically asked "what do you want me to relay to the scholarship committee as they consider your financial award?" or something like that.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
