I assume the 433 admits include people who were offered admission off the wait-list right? i recall reading from last year's wait list thread that they had to fill about 40 spots from the wait list. if that is correct, we shouldn't be expecting more than 393 offers before the seat deposits are due.Topszn wrote:Where do people keep getting this 390 figure from? Hopelessly Hopeful reaction: THERES ~80 SPACES AND ONLY 1 OF ME WOOOOO
EDIT: also i'm terrible at maths so who knows if that actually leaves around 80 spaces![]()

I've had it pop up a few times.skywalker446 wrote:Hi - quick question: I tried to log in to look at my status checker today, but was greeted with this message:
"You have navigated here in error.
Invalid Entry Point. You must enter this site from the law school's website.

The thing is, I did attempt to access the site from Stanford's website. Anyone else have this issue?
https://aces2.lsac.org/YourStatus/membe ... i%2B0OE%3D should work for Stanford.
They want you to always go through the school's site, but by changing the string after 'guid=' you go to different school's status checkers (for example NYU has a guid=xLWppa13eyY%3D).

Doesn't say on the status checker so I contacted them directly---REJECTION. It was a long shot..but still idk why it took them such a long time--filled me up with false hope. Oddly enough, I am relievedSmc1994 wrote:Erinlily22 wrote:DLS

Got the call this afternoon from Dean Deal and I'm in! Posted my stats at the bottom of the spreadsheet/ complete date for those who care to know. Best of luck to all those still waiting.
Did you send a LOCI? Huge Congrats, so lucky!
I then threw some continued interest into my reply.

You have to write a letter in blood then throw it into a fire of burning sage while performing a chant at midnight. You'll receive your response on the following morning written on your bathroom mirror.Dcc617 wrote:I've heard they only respond to emails written in blood.rachelql wrote:Hey guys

I hope that the SLS admissions committee can see how many times a person logs into his/her status checker every day. I can't think of a better "actions speak louder than words" supplement to my heartfelt, tearstained LOCI.
Also, as I realized this morning, I've had entire relationships run their course in the amount of time SLS has been deliberating whether or not they like me. I think I'm developing a complex.

I think erinlily was saying there hadn't been a status update (aka no DLS), but had been rejected already. I'm pretty sure they were referencing that when you go DLS on the status checker, it doesn't tell you if you're rejected or waitlisted, so you can call and ask for confirmation.texasellewoods wrote:I think erinlily was saying there hadn't been a status update (aka no DLS), but had been rejected already. If I am still under review should I accept a LOCI or is that more for people on the wait list.

(Just kidding. I have no idea what you should do. I've been under review for months, and the LOCI I sent a few weeks ago hasn't elicited any movement.)

I'm considering withdrawing in protest of my 6.5 month wait for an answer. Not seriously considering it, obviously, but the thought is there now at the back of my mind...

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
So does anyone think it's still worth it to send in a LOCI this late in the game? Also, how long after going under review would you send one? It's been only about 2.5 months for me, and I know others have been waiting for much longer...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
