Not at all, it takes 5 minutes of reading to understand how it works. If you follow football at all, you'll be perfectly fine.

I'd still like to have a master grammarian look it over before I upload it, but I'm otherwise happy and even there I think I'm fine

honestly I think at a certain point grammar is subjective. I had a professor tell me to avoid a specific word because older generations don't usually consider it a verb etc.

man I was gone on a 4 day vacation and everything happened while I was gone
