If it's any consolation, many people will probably be more impressed with Harvard than Yale
It's so true. My family and friends have all been in shock that I'd even consider Yale over Harvard. "But it's HARVARD! Isn't it better?"

It was my own reaction, honestly, when I first got here five years ago to start my graduate program and met one of my housemates who was a law student. She told me she got into Harvard and Yale both and I looked at her like she had three heads and asked why she went to Yale over Harvard.

New Haven has its charms, but I do earnestly believe I will like living in Cambridge far better than living here.

Does anyone know how many people are in the admitted students Facebook group as of this morning?

I got a call yesterday morning from a 203-432 number that I didn't recognize.

Yale Health calling to schedule an appointment. It was an unwarranted wisp of hope.

Twitter feed has been unusually quiet, especially so close to ASW.

I think they'll do some final calls tonight, but as of tomorrow morning I'm probably just going to commit elsewhere.

Hopefully they can issue the WL notices sooner rather than later....

Sorry if this was already addressed (I flipped back a bit and didn't see it) but what was last year's final FB group count?

Did the emails all come at the same time again? Like 3:30ish?

All of the current rejections appear to be below one or both of the medians. I'm guessing that they are trimming the fat before divvying up the rest between WL and R.
