Went complete on 01/09, does anyone know how long I can expect to wait to go under review this late in the cycle?

Does anyone know when EDII decisions came out last year? Tried to look and I was unsuccessful.

I am wondering the exact same thing. Exactly two weeks from today at the latest! Ahhhh can't wait any longer....
I asked my friend who applied ED last year, and she said it was around the deadline (Jan 31).

I was complete on monday and accepted by friday, but I think between 5 and the full 10 is normal.mr.plum wrote:I thought a few have reported faster turn-around times?Mack.Hambleton wrote:PT decisions are usually released on day 10 idk what u guys r talkin about
Feb. 15 is the application deadline, so maybe by Feb. 25 all the RD applications will (hopefully) go more quickly? on a super cursory glance at lsn, it looks like non-pt applicants have a big wave in late feb/early march

I have always loved Duke, applied ED as an undergrad, so this is a special day. Best of luck to all of candidates

Just do one page double spaced

nah, it's not like Penn. No prompt, just one page, double spaced. My Why Xs were all basically "how can this school specifically help me achieve my particular career goals" + "how can I contribute to what the school is trying to achieve," but there's a bunch of examples on the TLS wiki and on the greater web if you look.Lions1913 wrote:Duke has no specifics, length or otherwise?Mack.Hambleton wrote:Yes. Do you mean the optional essay that asks Why Law and Why Duke? That's supposed to be submitted with the application. Or for a LOCI? That's supposed to be submitted after a WL. For what are you writing this?Lions1913 wrote:Duke has no specifics, length or otherwise?Mack.Hambleton wrote:Yes. Just search TLS for why xLions1913 wrote:Non PT here. Once your status changes to "decision made", how long until the email shows up?

Do weekends count towards the 10 day window? Today's day 9 from completion for me, but day 10 is a Sunday and it's also MLK weekend, so does that mean I should expect a decision on Tuesday instead?

To answer my own question, it took me about an hour after my status changed.secadc11 wrote:Once your status changes to "decision made", how long until the email shows up?
