169 and 3.27 but will be 3.3 next time I submit.
WL or Held?
Held. Was under the impression they were the same thing? What is the difference?

a Hold means they are waiting to make a decision on your application. a WL is a WL.
What does a hold mean in terms of admissions chances though? Is this a situation where it would benefit me to make increased contact with the admissions office to exhibit my determination?

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the thread. Applied ED to GULC and had an alumni interview a few days ago. You guys think there's any chance I'll hear from them before Christmas?

Nope:

Due to budgetary constraints, the Office of Admissions is unable to provide travel stipends to admitted students who plan to attend the January Open House for Admitted Students or other recruitment events
Aww, I would've liked a cheap trip to DC

Most I have seen take between 3-4 weeks from application day.

My letter was dated a week from my interview. You might hear just before the holiday.
That would be ideal. Just wondering if the admissions office closes before the holidays, and if it does how many days before Christmas...

Ahhhh I'm in the same boat as a bunch of you. Still cannot log in but received the username and password yesterday:( the wait is killing me. Does anyone know if this has happened to anyone before this week - and what eventually happened?? Has anyone ever reported receiving the log in information and then not getting accepted?

Have patience, annoying the admissions people won't help you.
Well that's not what I was hoping to hear.

I don't think we will for a while.
What do you think "a while" will be. Just looking for informed guesses.
