What does a hold mean in terms of admissions chances though? Is this a situation where it would benefit me to make increased contact with the admissions office to exhibit my determination?rebexness wrote:a Hold means they are waiting to make a decision on your application. a WL is a WL.Edlund wrote:Held. Hey Guys,
I'm new to the thread. Applied ED to GULC and had an alumni interview a few days ago. You guys think there's any chance I'll hear from them before Christmas?

That would be ideal. Just wondering if the admissions office closes before the holidays, and if it does how many days before Christmas...Lions1913 wrote:My letter was dated a week from my interview. You might hear just before the holiday.JohnSmith2000 wrote:Hey Guys,

Ahhhh I'm in the same boat as a bunch of you. Still cannot log in but received the username and password yesterday:( the wait is killing me. Does anyone know if this has happened to anyone before this week - and what eventually happened?? Has anyone ever reported receiving the log in information and then not getting accepted?

Well that's not what I was hoping to hear.tincan678 wrote: Do not e-mail them unless you've been waiting for a long period of time. Getting a username and password probably does not indicate acceptance-- I requested a username/password right after my group interview and I got one-- there is no way I got accepted that quickly.
Have patience, annoying the admissions people won't help you.

You are special, grey. Gtown knows that.smccgrey wrote:Did anyone else who got log in information yesterday enter the ASW successfully? It seems weird that I would be the only one.

What do you think "a while" will be. Just looking for informed guesses.smccgrey wrote:I don't think we will for a while.johmica wrote:Has anyone accepted heard anything about scholarship dollars yet?
